Deputy Warden/Programs Kathy Litteral
Kathy Litteral began her correctional career as a Classification and Treatment Officer at EKCC in March of 1991. In 1993 she was promoted to Unit Administrator I and in 1996 was promoted to Classification and Treatment Supervisor.
She has served the Institution as a trained Hostage Negotiator, Public Information Officer, Grievance Coordinator and Kentucky State Charitable Campaign Representative.
Litteral is a member of the Cave Run Chapter of the State of Kentucky on Crime and Delinquency and the American Correctional Association. She is a 1980 graduate of the University Kentucky where she earned a bachelors degree in psychology. Her hobbies are tennis and karate.
She and her husband David Joe have a married daughter, Hope who is a student at Morehead State University and a son, Joseph who is in middle school. They are active in the West Liberty Christian Church.
