Deputy Warden Louis Korfhage

Louis R. Korfhage began his career in Corrections as a Classification & Treatment Officer at the Kentucky State Reformatory in 1974.  He left in 1977 and returned to KSR in 1986.

In 1987, he was promoted to Personnel Administrator Institutional.  In 1989, he was promoted to Correctional Unit Administrator II at Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex as part of the original team that opened EKCC.

In 1994, he was transferred to Green River Correctional Complex and assisted with the opening of GRCC.  He was promoted to Deputy Warden III in 1999.
