Warden Tom Dailey

Tom Dailey began his career in corrections in 1984 as a Correctional Officer at LLCC and was promoted to sergeant at the prison three years later, over the next 12 yrs he served as an Internal Affairs Lieutenant, Shift Captain, and then Unit Administrator at LLCC for the next 12 years. Dailey was promoted to Deputy Warden at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women (KCIW) in Pewee Valley in March 2000. He returned to LLCC as Warden in 2004

During his career, Dailey has served as co-commander and squad leader of LLCC’s CERT (Corrections Emergency Response Team) team. He was named Employee of the Year in 2001 at KCIW and at LLCC in 1996. He is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army.
