Mission

The mission of the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex, in accordance with the Department of Corrections is twofold:  1. To promote public safety, secure incarceration from the community; and, 2. To give felons the opportunities for the capability to contribute positively to society upon release through use of constructive classification, programs and work assignment.

    Frankfort, Ky. (May 16, 2008) – Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Lelia “Lee” VanHoose today announced that Robin Green has been promoted to District 9 Supervisor. The district includes all of Fayette County.

  • Potter-Blair Named DOC Deputy Commissioner

    FRANKFORT, KY. (April 1, 2008) – Kentucky Department of Corrections Commissioner LaDonna Thompson today announced that Kimberly Potter-Blair, a 10-year veteran of the department, has been named Deputy Commissioner for Support Services for the DOC.
